Separating external and internal, this research is on the environmental factors that are either an influence or a leveragable element. Such factors can include the market within which the business participates in, economies, politics, law and the geographical location.
Such intel will include an analysis of macro, micro trends, the threats and opportunities to be considered.

Evaluation
The business must be surveyed in detail to give a comprehensive picture of the organisation against what it should be doing in each and every area, that should exist with an organisation; how well are those areas performing and what are the responses, affects, from the relative stakeholders.
We incorporate a number of different methods in inspection from direct observation, interviews, surveys, stats and any available reports.

Knowing where the business sits in terms of its own establishment, it’s resources, level of competence, influence and in relation to the opportunity that lies ahead; gives management and investors the channel on which to drive the business; this is the direction, the focus and the level of effort required to surpass milestone goals and achieve its major target.
On strategy formulation; we’re deciphering the route to take, incorporating the target market, the locations, demographics, the emphasis of efforts, resources and the sequence under which required actions are taken and further still, the sequence of markets targeted as some clients are more accessible and some are more applicable and valuable to the business. Therefore, the investor and manager must know how the business is to be steered and how. Even when the business must not change its route, direction or destination; it must nevertheless steer itself through changing environments; businesses must then be realigned.

Having successfully determined that he major targets and purpose of the organisation; the asset and its relationship with the investor; the program sets out the micro targets, the sequence and the method for co-ordination; programs must incorporate members of the business, across the organisation. Xecology’s approach to projects is to treat the matter at hand as a matter of urgency and with diligence; the success of a project will contribute directly to the senior, umbrella program above it that would be affecting multiple departments and divisions. Without such a project, the program progress would be hindered.
The first step of a project is the identification of situations that exist, possibly previously un-noted, under the radar; this is following an evaluation where not only situations existed previously unidentified but also without organisation of the sequence in which such situations should be addressed and along with it, the order of importance.
